Our community
The MMM Lab is home to a diverse group of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers conducting cutting edge research at the nexus of materials and structures. In addition to top-notch scientific research, we value collegiality and collaboration. Outside of the lab, group members often take advantage of the many outdoor recreational opportunities that the Salt Lake Valley and Utah have to offer. Whether you enjoy cultural activities or outdoor adventures, you will find a home here in the MMM Lab.
Career trajectories
MMM Lab alumni have gone on to secure permanent positions in national laboratories, academia, and industry. You will find our lab alumni at Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Air Force Research Laboratory, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Naval Research Laboratory, Nvidia, and various universities. If you have an interest in pursuing a rewarding career that involves computational solid mechanics, advanced materials characterization, and/or machine learning, please consider joining our lab.
